Tegola Canadese bituminous roof tiles are distinguished by an exceptional variety of long-lasting colors and shapes. They are suitable for building pitched roofs - a lightweight system - in any climate zone, regardless of geometry and slope. This type of tile does not require subsequent maintenance, they are convenient for transportation and installation.

Tegola Canadese bituminous tiles with mineral sprinkles are made of:

  • natural bitumen "Tia-juana";
  • impregnated glass veil;
  • silica sand;
  • mineral sprinkle.

The mineral sprinkle gives the bitumen tiles color and finish. It is pre-colored at extremely high temperatures with inorganic pigments through a process called "mineralization". This process makes the colors fast, protects the bituminous layers from UV rays, and contributes to the long life of the shingles.

Natural bitumen "Tia-juana" originates from Venezuela. It is characterized by resistance to UV rays and exceptional resistance to daily thermal effects, which is a guarantee of a very long life of the roof with Tegola bitumen tiles.

Glass veil reinforcement gives bitumen tiles strength and protects them from deformation.

Silica sand prevents the bitumen tiles from sticking together and facilitates their transportation and handling.
