APAO bitumen membranes combine the advantages of APP and SBS waterproofing:

• resistance to heat and UV rays;
• exceptional flexibility;
• easy laying at lower temperatures;
• very high strength of mechanical load;
• excellent adhesion to the base;
• dimensional stability.

This type of waterproofing is not sensitive to UV rays. Therefore, APAO bituminous membranes do not need mineral dusting or additional heavy protection.

They are produced from high-quality distilled bitumen modified with elastoplastomer polymers, amorphous poly-alpha olefin (APAO), and a selected stabilizing filler.

Thanks to the high compatibility of APAO molecules with bitumen, excellent, long-lasting, and permanent qualities of waterproofing membranes are achieved.

APAO waterproofing membranes in the VJF range are produced by General Membrane.
