Waterproofing SBS bitumen membranes are characterized by very good flexibility and therefore function extremely successfully at low temperatures in cold climate zones.

The elasticity of SBS bitumen membranes is the result of the specific formula by which they are produced - high-quality distilled bitumen modified with elastoplastomer polymers, styrene butadiene styrene (SBS), and a selected stabilizing filler.

The composite of this type of waterproofing can be negatively affected by UV rays, therefore the bitumen membrane must be covered with mineral dust and/or a layer of heavy protection (ballast, gravel, etc.).

The SBS waterproofing membranes in the VJF range are manufactured by General Membrane.
